Cristiano Ronaldo YouTube channel is now number 66 on the all time youtubers subscribers list . The platform attracted millions of subscribers in just a few hours.
Ronaldo has put up 24 videos on his “UR Cristiano” channel, which show content about himself and his family.
The result was instant success. Al Nassr forward broke the world record within 90 minutes when he became the fastest channel to reach one million subscribers. He is currently at 52 million and counting.
To surpass the one million subscriber mark, Ronaldo had his children view a gold “play button” plaque given to him by YouTube itself, which he shared on Instagram.
He wrote: “A present for my family ❤️ Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!”
Ronaldo quickly overtook Lionel Messi with eight Ballon d Or wins from an 8-year-old Argentinian who subscribed to his account with only 2.31 million followers but he still has a long way to go before catching up with Mr Beast – a YouTuber subscribed by 311 million people.
This is not the first time that happened as this has been observed between former Real Madrid and Manchester Unite
