A well-known figure in the Nollywood film industry, an actor and the owner of a film production company, Yusuf Olorungbede has passed away.

The actor, Osman Baffour Oloorunbede, took his last breath on Tuesday August 27 2024, as Naija News gathered.

The actor younger brother – Oladimeji Peter – who, on Tuesday night, posted on his verified Facebook account about this new turn of events expressed his deep sorrow over the dead actor.

He wrote, “It shall be sad to hear you are no longer around, as a person who was to become an actor in your right, you were the first in my practical directorial experience that is, no, that was not the initiating aspects, first to offer to go with me to a shooting location and provide me with cash and food, there are people hard to come by, even hassle-free, hot my story in the industry and name, is it possible, EGBON?? Ko possible through you I met a lot and I learnt so many things from you. Good night boss man. Yusuf Olorungbebe.”

As this report is reaching my desk, there is no available information on the cause of his death.

Olorungbebe demise comes only days after another Nollywood actress cum film producer Sharon Okpamen went untimely to sleep.

The actress passed away days after welcoming her second baby.

Naija News further reports that earlier, the actress had informed her followers on Instagram that she had welcomed a second baby.

However, fellow movie producer, Stanely Ontop revealed that the actress had passed on.
