Olusegun Osoba, the erstwhile governor of Ogun State has reached out with a request to Nigerians that they should overlook certain failings of President Bola Tinubu.

Osoba was confident that Tinubu shall make an impressive performance during his second term.

He made such comments while addressing the South West Zone Assembly of the All Progressive Congress, APC. In Lagos.

The former governor has come out and stated that the Yorubas are in support of the presidency of Tinubu as he said that they trust him to make good on his word.

He also said that it is Nigerians who put Tinubuun into power.

For Osoba: “Now that Tinubu is there, I want to plead with all of you to accept his shortcomings. He will do better. After his first four-year term is over, he will, in four years serve as a son of Yoruba.”

“The south – western assembly – Yoruba leadership stands with Tinubu in presidency there is enough assurance that all his election promises will be met to the people during the tenure of the president.

“Bola did not make himself the President of Nigeria, we did.”
