Cancer has taken its toll on numerous members within the Nollywood circle as actress Sharon Okpamen has gone to rest after childbirth complications. Stanley Ontop, a renowned movie producer, broke the unfortunate news on his social media leaving people in the industry in disbelief.

The Edo born actress mourned for some days after the delivery of her baby but eventually died from a coma afterwards. Stanley Ontop in his passionate post, memorialized Okpamen saying,

It was a sad event for the Nollywood Actor and Producer Sharon Okpamen family as several news sources confirmed that she has between May and June 2020, it was sad day for Nollywood and the Edo entertainment industry. A growing film maker, actress, business woman and now humanitarian Sharons absence will be some sort of ambassador conquering Africa as she will be representing the best of the industry. May her soul rest in perfect peace amen @sharonokpamen it can only get better Shalom!!!.

Apart from acting in Nollywood, Sharon Okpamen was associated with a lot of business undertakings as well as giving back to the society. Her death is a huge loss for the industry and she will be cherished for her gifted self and hard work. There is everywhere grief in the entire Nollywood family and her fans because of this deep loss, eulogies have not stopped coming as her memory still lives on.
