Among the numerous and successful actors, one Patrick Doyle has come for the singer Davido over how he dressed up to the palace of Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri.

Davido over the weekend performed at the Warri Again concert in Delta State thrilling the fans with hits such as Over Dem, Kante among others as well as No Competition.

Even before the concert, the singer was a part of people who paid courtesy to Olu who had Amaju Pinnick, Phyno, Cubana Chief Priest and AY Makun.

Wearing a white t-shirt and a brown pair of knickers, Davido and Pinnick took pictures with the monarch while dressed up.

Doyle, who hails from Delta state in Nigerian went on facebook to raise concern on Davido dressing which he described as “indecent” for a royal visit.

“Is this the right kind of dressing for anyone looking to pay a visit to the Palace of a king like the Olu of Warri?” asked the actor aged 63.

However, his post has generated mixed reactions where some of the people defend Davido casual dress condemning those who with such views while others agree that Davido behaviour was disrespecting the head.

In October 2023, former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Pinnick told Davido and his music label Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in a sue presented at Effurun, Delta high court.
