Transfer News: Juventus interested in signing Sterling from Chelsea

Juventus have requested information over the availability of Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

The West London club reported move for Pedro Neto could present Juve with an opportunity this summer, as Sterling faces the prospect of reduced playing time at Stamford Bridge next season.

The 29-year-old scored 10 goals in 43 appearances last term in all competitions, but he fell out of the reckoning for the England national team and has not played for the Three Lions since the 2022 World Cup.

Unlike Chelsea, Juve will be competing in the new-look Champions League next season, which could be another attraction for Sterling.

However, Di Marzio adds that Juventus would face stiff competition from other clubs in the Premier League if Sterling is made available.
