Atiku tackles Tinubu govt on 18 years age limit for tertiary education

Atiku has said that to set an age limit for potential students will mean violence to their individual rights and so it must be condemned.

This was revealed to members of the press by the Atiku on his page in Facebook. He further added that the government of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu behaves like a very confused captain in the middle of the ocean

It can be noted that the same Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman had previously directed that admission to tertiary institutions should not be given to the students below the age of 18.

He explained that the fact that the learners should be this age confirms this other model which is meant for students of age.

Tahir said: “The minimum age of entry into the university is 18, but we have seen some students who are age 15 or 16 going in for the entrance examinations.

They have children who will grow up with very little children expectations - so that the speech itself may become a fitne to children - global expectations are now also a parent.

Such a situation of young managers will be of concern because at some stage these actors cannot comprehend the issues that relate to the entire university education.

This is the period when children migrate from controlled to uncontrolled environment; when they are in charge of their own affairs.
