Our Petroleum products are not inferior - Dangote Refinery

Farouk Ahmed, the CEO of NMDPRA, has been refuted by Aliko Dangote, owner of Dangote Refinery. Ahmed had stated that products from his refinery are inferior to imported ones.

The leader of Nigerian House of Representatives along with Tajudeen Abbas as the Speaker visited the facility on Saturday where Dangote made his clarification.

He said if independent tests were carried out, there would be different results from what NMDPRA is presenting.

According to him, those are the oil product specs that have been tested by the regulatory body and they belong to imports.

He told reporters: The spec in test that they are supporting is an imported one but in some cases when you check (independently) you will find a difference. It is because these people who own labs have been given instructions on what to write.
