According to NECO, it will not accept requests for a reprint of its original certificate after one year. However, it is a time-honored practice that the examination body entertains correction of result up till one month from the date of issuance.

Moreover, NECO has maintained that candidates are required to make payment of fifty thousand Naira (N50, 000) only in orderl to re-print their Certificates. In addition to this, any registration error made by either a school or candidate cannot be traced back to the council as confirmed by Professor Pantani Ibrahim Wushishi, NECO Registrar statement published on its website.
