Update your Prepaid Meters NOW - NERC Wans all prepaid meter users
It was on this note that NERC gave a deadline of November 2024 for prepaid meter users to update their meters. The commission stated that after the deadline, consumers who fail to upgrade may not be able to recharge their electricity. This update is straightforward and does not affect customer meter units or cause their meters to run faster than usual.
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has again reminded Nigerians that they need to update their meters before the deadline of November 2024. On Tuesday, August 8, 2024, through its official X account, the Commission sent this out so as to create urgency among electricity consumers before then.
The commission warned that after the deadline, consumers who fail to upgrade may not be able to recharge their electricity
